Our inaugural event was a good one. Ducktail teamed up with Maxted Page and Paragon Porsche to capture the final round of the Peter Auto and Endurance Racing Legends Series for 2024.

None of our team had ever visited Estoril before, but we were greeted by European charm, patinated grandstands and the ever present reminders of a circuit steeped in motorsport history. It was as though the lights had been switched off at the end of the 1996 Formula 1 race and it had been left untouched ever since. You can almost hear the engines of Villeneuve and Hill’s Williams as you walk down the pitlane, although thanks to Peter Auto this is practically a reality.

From historic Formula 1 cars to the Porsche 2.0l cup grid, E Type Jaguars to classic touring cars, a Peter Auto weekend really has something for everyone. The Ducktail team were fortunate enough to cover Endurance Racing Legends, a grid bursting with some of the most exciting cars from 90s and 00s motorsport. Spread across two races, one in the day and one in the evening, ERL took us back to a hair-raising, in period 24hr race. The flames, soundtrack and glowing turbos coupled with surnames like Franchitti, Newey & Brown, all made for an epic weekend of racing.
